ZTE said on Wednesday that the brand Nubia Nubia Z 11 and N1 smartphone panic button feature will exist. This feature is unique to India. Nubia current panic button feature phones through software updates will be provided. The company also confirmed that the future of Brand Nubian feature phones also come with panic buttons.
Nubia has reported that after updating existing user device by pressing the Power button three times, will be able to activate the panic button. Then the phone will automatically connect to the emergency contact. The Indian government had decided last year since 1 January 2017 all smartphones are sold using panic button. However, recently the government had extended the deadline by two months.
Notably, the Software Update feature through the panic button is not the first company to add Nubia. Apple this feature was rolled out in December last year.
Nubia current user can download the feature from the company's website. The company said in a statement to the press the panic button on the right to use 100 will call the number.
