Giving a makeover to its fashion segment - a category led by Myntra and Jabong-owned Flipkart up until now - Amazon is offering up to 80% off on clothing and 70% on accessories, including handbags, sunglasses and footwear across top brands like Fab India, Adidas, Titan, UCB and American Tourister, among others.
Amazon is also offering a minimum 70% off on jewellery, with a chance to win an additional 10% off. Ethnic wear from W, Biba and Aurelia are also available at half the original prices.
Flipkart too is offering up to 80% off under this category for men and women's apparels, sports and gym wear as well as fashion accessories like watches and footwear. All these are available across top brands like Lee, Vero Moda, Red Tape and Tommy Hilfiger, among others.
Large appliances & electronics
Amazon customers can avail of discounts of up to 35% off on LG products and 30% on BPL appliances, up to 40% on TVs, up to 30% on refrigerators and up to Rs 20,000 off on laptops. The platform is offering no-cost EMIs for over 30,000 products, as well as exchange offers on some.
Some of the hard-to-miss-deals include 43-inch Sanyo TV for less than Rs 23000, nearly 40% off on Samsung 32-inch TVs and Micromax TVs for half the price. Echo Plus, part of Amazon's range of smart speakers in India, can also be bought at a little over Rs 10,000. This purchase will also include a year's subscription of Prime.
This will be the last time when Prime access will be available at Rs 499 a year - down from the original Rs 999. Amazon is also offering
cool deals on Kindle worth Rs 5,000.
With Flipkart launching its private label for large appliances MarQ, television sets from the brand in now available on sale starting at Rs 7,999. Other offers include fully automatic washing machines from LG, Samsung and Godrej starting less than Rs 10,000.
