Chinese smartphone maker Oppo is all set to launch its latest flagship smartphone in India. The company has started sending out media invites for the launch event on November 2, where it will unveil the Oppo F5. Just like OnePlus, Oppo is also skipping the number 4 and is launch F5 after F3. The company has not mentioned any reason for the same, but 4 is considered as an unlucky number in China so that can be reason behind this.
The invite doesn't reveal much about the launch and reads, 'Come capture the real you with Oppo's Selfie Expert'. The smartphone is expected to sport a display of 18:9 aspect ratio like many of the smartphones available in the market.
As per earlier reports, the Oppo F5 is expected to come with a 6-inch FHD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will sport dual front cameras either 12MP or 16MP. There will also be a 20MP rear camera with LED flash and it will be backed by a 4000mAh battery. It is also expected that the smartphone will offer 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and will be powered by a Snapdragon 625 or 630 processor.
Oppo recently launched the 'Diwali Limited Edition' of its F3 smartphone. The company has priced the handset at Rs 18,990, and will also give a cricket bat signed by the Indian cricket team. It is already available in India exclusively on Amazon India and in Oppo offline stores.
In terms of specs, the Diwali Limited Edition Oppo F3 has same specs as the original Oppo F3 that was launched back in May.
Some of the key specifications are 5.5-inch full HD (1080x1920 pixel resolution) In-Cell display, octa-core 64-bit processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage, 16MP selfie camera, 13MP rear camera and a 3200mAh battery.
