In April, this year Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi launched its flagship smartphone Mi 6 with 6GB RAM. Now, it seems that the company is planning to introduce a 4GB RAM variant of the smartphone.
A 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant of the smartphone is spotted on certification website TENAA. All the other specifications are the same, just the RAM and storage of the phone has changed. It is also speculated that the company will launch the 4GB RAM variant on November 11 at an event in China.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 flagship SoC and comes with a 5.15-inch Full HD display, which the company claims satisfy China's colour standards and prevents discomfort caused due to colour shifts. The Mi 6 has a four-sided 3D-glass design, and has a Home button with integrated fingerprint sensor at the front. It's also splash-resistant.
Notably, the Mi 6 is the first Xiaomi smartphone that doesn't include a 3.5mm audio jack. However, the smartphone does come with stereo speakers for an enhanced audio listening experience. This is also the first smartphone from the Chinese smartphone maker to come without a 3.5mm audio jack.
